Bruce A. Kraft was born in Boston Massachusetts. He grew up in Newton, and graduated in 1972 from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Attorney Kraft received his Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk Law School in 1975. At Suffolk Law School, Attorney Kraft was a student attorney in the Suffolk Voluntary Defenders Program, assisting clients in the various Massachusetts District Courts.
Attorney Kraft was appointed an Assistant Suffolk County District Attorney in January 1976. He was assigned as an Assistant District Attorney in the Major Violators Division of the District Attorney’s Office. For three (3) years, Attorney Kraft successfully prosecuted major felony cases in both the District and Superior Courts in Suffolk County.
In 1979, Attorney Kraft established his law practice at 229 Harvard Street, Brookline, Massachusetts and has now practiced for thirty-seven (37) consecutive years at this same location in Brookline.
Attorney Kraft has developed an expertise in a wide range of legal matters including: matrimonial law; probate of estates and probate litigation; estate planning; landlord and tenant litigation; criminal defense in both the District and Superior Court and all areas of civil litigation. He has represented clients in more than one hundred (100) jury trials. Attorney Kraft also has developed an expertise in real estate closings representing hundreds of clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has also acted as Appellate counsel in more than twenty cases (20) in the Massachusetts Appeals Court & Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court.
Attorney Kraft resides with his family in Framingham where he is an avid golfer and tennis player.
